As the founding Developer Relations lead at Blaxel, you will own the end-to-end developer experience, from technical documentation to community growth. You’ll define the playbook for developer adoption in an AI-native world, shipping high-quality code examples and technical deep-dives while leveraging AI automation to scale your impact across global communities.
Developer Relations at Blaxel
Blaxel is building the serverless cloud for AI agents, and they need a founding Developer Relations lead to define how the world interacts with their sub-25ms cold-start infrastructure. Backed by First Round Capital and Y Combinator, this role is a unique chance to work with repeat founders who have already scaled and sold a cloud company. You’ll own the documentation, community, and technical content for a platform where a significant portion of users are already AI agents. If you're a builder-first engineer with a passion for high-performance infra and technical storytelling, this San Francisco-based role offers $140k-$190k + equity and the autonomy to build a function from the ground up.

Role overview
Blaxel is AWS for AI agents. We’re a new kind of cloud computing infrastructure optimized for the unique demands of agentic AI, leveraging a purpose-built 25ms cold-start serverless compute engine.
Now processing billions of agent requests, we power the coding agents and background AI tasks infrastructure for top AI startups. Founders choose us when they hit the limits of general-purpose clouds. We solve the hard infrastructure problems—statefulness, ultra-low latency, and secure sandboxed code execution—so they can focus on building their core AI products.
We raised a $7.3M seed round led by First Round Capital.
What you will do
- Author authoritative, deep-dive technical content on stateful serverless, sandboxing, and enterprise agent architecture by interviewing core engineers.
- Own the developer journey including documentation, runnable code tutorials, and integration guides that demonstrate the platform’s performance capabilities.
- Grow and manage the Blaxel developer community on Discord and at events, acting as the primary technical bridge between users and product.
Who this is a fit for
- A builder-first technical expert who can read complex codebases and ship working integration examples using containers, VMs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Highly autonomous writer capable of translating complex latency and infrastructure problems into clear, engaging, and technically accurate documentation.
- AI-native practitioner who uses LLMs as a force multiplier for automation while maintaining a deep understanding of the underlying technical trade-offs.
Why this role is remarkable
- You will write the playbook for Developer Relations in an era where half your developers are AI agents using the product directly.
- Backed by tier-1 investors like First Round and YC, Blaxel is led by founders with a proven exit to a major cloud provider.
- High-growth environment with zero churn and significant revenue already generated from AI agents, offering massive autonomy and a path to lead the function.
