As the first Dutch-based hire, you will spearhead IQ Capital’s expansion into the Netherlands. You will be responsible for sourcing high-potential deep tech startups, leading technical due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. What you will do
- Source outlier founders by mapping the Dutch deep tech market and attending niche industry events to identify breakthrough investment opportunities before anyone else.
- Lead the end-to-end investment process, including conducting rigorous technical due diligence, supporting negotiations, and producing high-standard investment committee papers.
- Support portfolio company growth by acting as a strategic advisor and representing IQ Capital at the board level to help startups scale into global successes.

- Established network: You must possess a deep, existing network within the Dutch deep tech ecosystem, including active relationships with founders, universities, and local co-investors.
- Technical depth: A strong STEM background is essential, with demonstrable expertise in frontier sectors such as AI/ML, advanced engineering, aerospace, or energy technologies.
- Professional experience: You have prior experience in venture capital (sourcing and diligence) or have served as a founder or early employee in a hypergrowth technical startup.
