Platform Engineer at Model ML

As a Platform Engineer at Model ML, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure for a rapidly scaling AI workflow builder. You will own the technical stack across Azure and Kubernetes, ensuring systems are secure, cost-efficient, and audit-ready while empowering engineering teams to deliver high-quality financial automation tools globally.

• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, Terraform, and AKS to support rapid product expansion and high-load environments.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks for logging, metrics, and tracing to ensure operational excellence and rapid release cycles.
• Prepare and manage infrastructure security and compliance to align with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards for major financial institution clients.

• Has 4-7 years of relevant experience in startup or high-growth environments with a proven track record of owning production infrastructure end-to-end.
• Demonstrates technical mastery in Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions, alongside strong Python or Bash scripting skills.
• Possesses a deep understanding of networking, production-grade database management (PostgreSQL/NoSQL), and implementing security best practices such as secrets management.
