Product Designer (Staff / Principal Level) at Anima — YC-backed healthcare AI

Join a high-growth mission to eliminate clinical misdiagnosis using agentic AI. As a Staff or Principal designer, you will own entire product lines end-to-end, acting as your own product manager. You'll work alongside world-class engineers to build high-precision tools that already serve millions of patients and 10x doctor capacity across the NHS.

• Lead the end-to-end design for multiple new product opportunities, focusing on high-retention features and clinical efficiency.
• Collaborate deeply with the "Anima Champions" user community, visiting GP practices to intuit and solve complex workflow pain points.
• Ship frontend code to production using modern AI-assisted tools like Cursor to ensure design precision and rapid iteration.

• Has 4+ years of experience in 0-1 product design at high-growth startups with a portfolio reflecting obsessive craft and precision.
• Possesses strong product instincts and the ability to define "what to build" without needing hand-holding or predefined specs.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in frontend development or a strong desire to ship code to production as part of the design process.

• Exceptional ownership where you shape the roadmap and product strategy directly as Anima does not employ Product Managers.
• High-stakes impact building tools used hundreds of times daily by clinicians, where design quality directly correlates to saved lives.
• Work in a design-first culture alongside elite talent, including former founders from YC and experts in autonomous systems and medicine.
