Role overview

As the first commercial hire at Hawkeye Legal, you will drive enterprise sales from discovery to close while building the company’s foundational sales playbook. Working directly with the founders, you’ll sell intelligent regulatory automation to Legal and Compliance teams, eventually scaling the sales organization from the ground up.

Hawkeye Legal (hawkeye.legal) provides a regulatory intelligence and monitoring platform designed to help organizations spot, understand, and respond to regulatory change more efficiently. The company focuses on simplifying regulatory oversight by aggregating and organizing regulatory updates, enabling compliance, legal, and risk teams to track relevant rules, assess impact, and manage their response. Its tools aim to transform complex and fragmented regulatory information into actionable insights so that firms can maintain compliance and treat regulatory change as a competitive advantage.

What you will do

  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles for Legal, ESG, and Compliance teams, managing everything from discovery calls to multi-stakeholder pilots.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and product teams to translate market signals into sharper positioning and a scalable enterprise sales motion.
  • Establish the foundational sales processes and playbooks required to grow the commercial organization from zero to a high-performing team.

Who this is a fit for

  • 3–6 years of B2B SaaS closing experience with a proven track record of overachievement, such as President’s Club or top-performer status.
  • Professional fluency in both German and English, with the ability to build trust and navigate complex enterprise buying committees.
  • Prior experience selling into Legal, Compliance, ESG, or Risk departments, or a deep desire to build a sales function from scratch in a startup environment.
