Role overview

You will lead OpenEvidence’s expansion into global health, establishing foundational partnerships with ministries of health, NGOs, and foundations. By bridging the gap between clinical AI and frontline health workers in low-connectivity environments, you’ll manage flagship deployments across the Global South, ensuring medical expertise reaches those who need it most.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end relationships with major global health stakeholders, including ministries of health, international NGOs, and philanthropic foundations to scale platform adoption.
  • Translate complex clinical and operational needs in the Global South into actionable deployment plans for AI-driven health tools in low-bandwidth settings.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product and research teams to refine OpenEvidence for global health use cases, including offline functionality and local language support.

Who this is a fit for

  • 10+ years of experience in global health or international development with at least 5 years managing high-level external partnerships and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Technical fluency in AI and LLM capabilities to bridge the gap between engineering teams and clinical end-users in resource-constrained environments.
  • Proven entrepreneurial background with the high agency required to build programs from scratch and the willingness to travel 25% to partner sites.
