Role overview

As Shepherd’s first Revenue Operations hire, you will build the operational foundation for the Go-To-Market team. Reporting to the Head of Growth & Finance, you will partner with leadership to define strategy, manage systems like Salesforce, and optimize the sales cycle. This high-impact role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive scalable growth.

AI-native commercial insurance

What you will do

  • Own the GTM operating rhythm, including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and QBRs, while identifying and fixing process inefficiencies.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives such as territory segmentation, quota setting, and sales compensation design in close partnership with Finance.
  • Manage and optimize the sales tech stack, primarily Salesforce and Outreach, while building BI dashboards to provide real-time performance visibility.

Who this is a fit for

  • Brings 6+ years of experience in Revenue or Sales Operations at high-growth B2B companies, with a deep understanding of sales motions.
  • Possesses expert-level Salesforce skills alongside proficiency in SQL and BI tools like Metabase or Looker for complex data modeling.
