Senior AI Solutions Engineer at Turing

As the founding Field Engineer for the Software Engineering domain, you will partner with frontier AI labs to architect custom expert-human datasets and code-generation benchmarks. You will bridge the gap between GTM and R&D, building technical demos, scoping agentic evaluations, and proving the efficacy of training data for next-generation LLMs.

• Lead technical discovery for qualified SWE opportunities, translating research lab needs into scoped datasets, benchmarks, and managed talent deliverables.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes and working agentic scaffolds in Python to prove technical approaches for code-generation and evaluation tasks before contract.
• Manage paid proof-of-concepts (POCs) from kick-off to scale-up, designing success criteria and measurement plans that demonstrate superior model performance gains.

• 5+ years of software or ML engineering experience with deep production-level expertise in code-generation, developer tooling, or agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and modern LLM tooling, with the ability to build, grade, and evaluate complex code benchmarks like SWE-bench.
• Strong commercial instinct and communication skills, capable of producing technical scoping documents that satisfy PhD-level researchers at top-tier labs.

• Ownership of a founding field engineering function where you define the playbook, demo library, and technical qualification standards from scratch.
