Responsibilities
What you will do
- Take day-to-day ownership of the Hesta codebase across the full stack, translating clinical insights into production-ready features and robust infrastructure.
- Implement and experiment with AI-enabled features, including LLM-powered agent workflows and automation to improve clinical operations and user experience.
- Design and maintain data-compliant systems that meet stringent healthcare regulatory standards including UK GDPR, NHS DSPT, and MHRA guidance.
Candidate profile
Who this is a fit for
- At least 5+ years of experience in high-impact, early-stage product teams with a pragmatic, builder mindset and the ability to own systems end-to-end.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python (FastAPI/Flask) for backend development and React or Next.js for frontend, including cloud deployment experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Product-minded engineer who is AI-curious and understands or is eager to master the constraints of clinical workflows and healthcare data privacy standards.
