Senior Software Engineer at Nidus

You will architect the software backbone for autonomous factories, bridging the gap between cloud services and physical production lines. Building reliable backend systems, petabyte-scale visual data pipelines, and ML infrastructure, you will ensure robots and humans execute production work seamlessly in high-stakes environments where uptime and data integrity are mission-critical.

• Architect and maintain cloud-based backend systems for factory planning, scheduling, and telemetry while ensuring seamless operation across on-prem services.
• Build and scale petabyte-level visual data pipelines for model training, curation, and deployment across hybrid compute environments.
• Implement robust infrastructure-as-code and observability tools that maintain performance despite intermittent connectivity and industrial noise.

• 3–6 years of experience building and shipping production-grade backend systems, infrastructure, or large-scale data platforms.
• Deep expertise in hybrid cloud/edge architectures, Terraform, and managing data at scale (terabytes to petabytes).
• Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments, with a pragmatic approach to balancing system speed and correctness.
