Role overview

As the first in-house recruiter at Trysela.com, you will build the talent function from the ground up during a period of 4x headcount growth. Partnering directly with the CEO, you’ll own the full lifecycle for engineering, GTM, and operations roles, establishing processes and sourcing programs to attract world-class talent to San Francisco.

Trysela.com is a high-growth AI startup backed by Emergence Capital, building voice agents for the mortgage industry. Having scaled to $10M revenue in 18 months and processing over 200 million monthly calls, Trysela.com is now expanding its team from 15 to 55+ members to support five of the top ten US lenders.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end hiring lifecycle for technical and non-technical roles, personally sourcing, interviewing, and closing senior staff engineers and leadership positions.
  • Implement and optimize the talent tech stack, including Ashby ATS, and design scalable outbound sourcing programs that serve as the company’s primary pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on headcount planning and culture building, ensuring high-quality hiring bars and long-term retention as the team grows to 55+.

  • Hands-on expert in sourcing and closing senior-level ICs and managers across both engineering and GTM functions, ideally within fintech or AI domains.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and committed to a high-collaboration office environment (4 days per week) near Montgomery BART.
