Role overview
Vitrue Health is a UK-based technology startup helping millions of people eliminate musculoskeletal (MSK) pain at work. Our AI-powered platform uses computer vision and biomechanical insights to predict, prevent, and reduce pain before it impacts someone’s productivity or wellbeing.
Vitrue delivers automated MSK assessments, personalised guidance, and daily micro-interventions that help employees feel better and work comfortably. Employers use Vitrue to spot risks early, support people proactively, and build a healthier, more productive workforce, all while meeting regulations.
Born from innovations in elite sports injury prevention, Vitrue brings the same level of precision and proactive care into everyday working environments - helping reduce pain and improve how people feel every day.
What you will do
- Ship end-to-end features using Vue.js and .NET Core, from natural language AI analysis tools to event-driven notification systems.
- Collaborate directly with UX designers and clinical experts to translate complex medical logic into intuitive, scalable software solutions.
- Make key architectural and tooling decisions to keep systems reliable, scalable, and efficient across the VIDA platform and AWS infrastructure.
Who this is a fit for
- 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a strong grasp of modern frontend frameworks like Vue and strongly typed backend systems like C#/.NET.
- Proven track record of building complex applications and taking initiative in high-velocity startup environments where shipping value is prioritized over waiting for tickets.
- Product-minded engineer who values mission-driven work and is comfortable taking ownership of features from architectural design to deployment on AWS.
Why this role is remarkable
- Work on high-impact technology like webcam-based pose estimation and AI data analysis tools that have a proven 34% success rate in reducing chronic MSK pain.
- Join a fast-growing team that has already hit £1m ARR and secured major enterprise partnerships with the NHS, AXA, and Gymshark across 32 countries.
- High-autonomy culture where you'll own features end-to-end and work alongside a clinical lead (GP) and senior designers to solve complex medical challenges.
