- Act as the single accountable operating leader for the global engineering function, directly reporting to the CEO and defining overall technical strategy.
- Build a high-performance hiring engine to scale the team to 25+ all-stars while maintaining an elite talent bar and reducing regrettable churn.
- Transform the engineering culture into an agent-native environment, shifting the default development motion to human-orchestrated, agent-driven execution.
Who you are
Who this is a fit for
- Proven track record as a VP Engineering or equivalent at a startup that experienced extraordinary growth and operated with unusually high talent density.
- Former exceptional IC who still possesses the technical credibility to challenge and support elite engineers on complex architectural problems.
- Experienced manager with at least 3-5 years in leadership, possessing the 'management scar tissue' to navigate recruiting, performance management, and organizational scaling.
