We are looking for our first dedicated Accounting Associate to own the end-to-end month-end close and build our financial infrastructure with a clear path to Controller. This is a hands-on opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified professional with Big 4 experience to automate billing systems and manage complex revenue recognition in a high-growth environment. Based in our five-floor City office with a roof terrace and gym, you’ll be a key architect of our scaling finance function.

What you will do
- Own the full month-end close cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and complex revenue recognition for subscription contracts and acquisitions.
- Manage day-to-day billing and cash application for over 9,000 advice professionals, implementing AI tools to automate manual AP/AR workflows.
- Build the group’s accounting infrastructure from scratch, establishing internal controls, intercompany mechanics, and audit-ready reporting standards for external investors.
Who this is a fit for
- 4+ years of experience in audit or accounting at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, with specific exposure to SaaS or subscription business models.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or final stage) with strong working knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and hands-on proficiency in Xero.
- A self-starter with the clarity to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance colleagues and the drive to own a function autonomously.
