Role overview
As the first Management Accountant at Cantourage UK Ltd, you will report to the Fractional CFO to own the month-end process and financial storytelling. You will bridge the gap between numbers and strategy by managing integrated forecasts, inventory analysis, and business partnering across supply chain and commercial teams to drive profitability.

It connects licensed medical cannabis cultivators and manufacturers in Europe, Canada, New Zealand, and other markets with UK pharmacies, clinics, prescribers, wholesalers, and patients. The company provides regulated importing, product sourcing, formulary management, quality and batch documentation, GDP-compliant logistics, pharmacy distribution, clinical and product support, and UK market-access services for producers. Cantourage UK operates under a Schedule II Controlled Drug Licence and Wholesale Dealers Authorisation for cannabis-based products for medicinal use.
What you will do
- Own timely and accurate monthly management accounts for both the UK entity and the clinic, providing detailed variance analysis and business-driver commentary.
- Maintain integrated 13-week cash-flow forecasts and rolling P&L models to support the annual budget and key commercial scenarios.
- Partner with department heads to analyze SKU-level profitability, manage inventory exposure, and improve cash conversion cycles across the supply chain.
Who this is a fit for
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified (or near-completion finalist) with proven experience producing full management accounts and integrated financial forecasts.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with a natural curiosity to dig into data and explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Background in inventory-heavy or regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or distribution, ideally within a high-growth scale-up environment.
