Join b2venture’s Product & Tech team to build an AI-native finance operating system from the ground up. You will bridge the gap between investment activities and financial operations, automating critical workflows for transactions, portfolio valuations, and investor reporting. It’s a unique opportunity to scale the financial backbone of a major European VC.

What you will do

  • Design and maintain scalable models for transactions, including complex cap table and waterfall scenarios for pro-rata and exit analysis.
  • Build data pipelines and reconciliation logic for fund cash flows, capital calls, and distributions using tools like Quantium and custom automations.
  • Develop an audit-proof “single source of truth” for portfolio company reporting and valuations, incorporating calibration and backtesting logic.

Who this is a fit for

  • 1-2 years of experience in finance automation, fund accounting, or transaction management at a VC/PE fund, Big 4, or high-growth scale-up.
  • Strong technical foundation in SQL and database management, with a proven ability to use AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required to navigate regulatory reporting and coordinate with international limited partners and auditors.
