Senior Finance Assistant at BSG (Biozone Scientific – The Photoplasma Company)

You will be the engine room of a lean finance team, owning the end-to-end production of monthly management accounts. This includes managing P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis, while overseeing accounts receivable and payable functions. You’ll play a vital role in supporting international entities and driving financial accuracy for a growing global business.

• Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and detailed variance commentary against budgets.
• Oversee the Sales and Purchase ledger functions, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely supplier payments, and robust credit control processes.
• Maintain short and long-term cash flow forecasts and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure group-wide financial integrity and audit readiness.

• AAT qualified or a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA student with at least three years of experience in a progressive accounting or finance role.
• Hands-on experience preparing management accounts and a strong command of Excel, including advanced functions like XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIFS.
• Proven ability to work independently within an SME or multi-entity environment, ideally with experience using ERP systems like SAP to meet strict deadlines.

• True Management Accounting Exposure: Unlike transactional assistant roles, you will own the month-end cycle, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations for a global group.
