Lead the “Coal to Clean” project, driving the narrative that clean energy is the smarter, cheaper option across Asia and Africa. Reporting to the CEO, you will coordinate global campaign coalitions, manage rapid-response communications, and deliver high-stakes media moments. This is a senior, high-impact role for a strategic leader comfortable building within a startup-like environment.

The organisation works with businesses, governments, communities, and global partners to build public and political support for a rapid, fair, and secure clean-energy future, with particular emphasis on increasing renewable-energy investment in the Global South.
What you will do
- Direct the Coal to Clean coalition, running high-level meetings and leading strategic decision-making to increase the communications impact of global partners.
- Develop and deliver rapid-response energy crisis communications, coordinating media strategies and pitching major news stories to shift public and political opinion.
- Line-manage project staff and consultants while supporting fundraising efforts to scale new communications projects and pilot innovative audience-led interventions.
Who this is a fit for
- Brings 10+ years of professional communications leadership, including at least 3 years of strategic responsibility within Asian or African markets.
- Possesses deep experience translating complex data and research into compelling narratives that drive policy change and disrupt established industry thinking.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of managing traditional media relations, crisis response, and digital content delivery while coordinating complex multi-stakeholder coalitions.
