Payroll Manager at Fathom Realty

As Payroll Manager, you will lead the end-to-end payroll function for both corporate employees and agent commissions. You’ll manage multi-state tax compliance, administer the HRIS platform, and partner with Finance and HR on audits. This is a high-impact operating seat offering full ownership of the payroll cycle within a dynamic public company environment.

• Execute the full end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely payments for a distributed corporate staff and thousands of affiliated agents.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations, managing all necessary filings, documentation, and year-end audits.
• Administer and optimize the payroll and HRIS platform, handling system configurations, software integrations, and detailed financial reporting for HR and Finance.

• Proven experience owning full-cycle payroll for a sizable, multi-state US workforce, with deep knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Strong expertise in processing both traditional W-2 payroll and high-volume commission-based agent payouts within the real estate or service industries.
• Hands-on proficiency in administering modern payroll/HRIS platforms, with a track record of delivering clean reconciliations that stand up under executive review.
