Iridium is hiring its first engineer, building alongside co-founders Anthony (built Morgan Stanley’s payment platforms, then underwriting systems in private credit) and Preesha (ex-Microsoft & Bloomberg ML). The problem: US businesses are owed ~$7 trillion in unpaid invoices and under 1% ever get access to invoice-based loans while they wait to be paid. Verifying and underwriting each one is still done manually, so small businesses drown waiting to get paid. Iridium is building an autonomous orchestration engine to automate the entire lending process using email, browser and voice agents, held to a bar high enough for our current lending customers moving $100M+ a month.
