You will architect the foundational systems for a multi-product ecosystem that transforms raw narratives into structured, actionable intelligence for law enforcement. Working alongside a former detective and an ex-Palantir CTO, you'll ship AI-powered tools that automate investigative workflows, accelerate lead discovery, and directly improve community safety through cutting-edge technology.
Founding Engineer at Corveris
Join a high-caliber founding team, including an ex-Palantir Tech Lead and a veteran detective, to rebuild the intelligence layer for public safety. This South Park Commons-backed startup is replacing legacy paper-based reporting with AI that interviews citizens and extracts actionable leads for law enforcement. As a Founding Engineer in San Francisco, you’ll earn $180k-$220k plus significant equity while architecting RAG pipelines and core systems that directly impact community safety. If you are a full-stack builder with a product mindset and a desire to solve high-stakes, real-world problems, this is your chance to shape a company from the ground up.
About this role
Role overview
About the company
Corveris is building the intelligence layer for public safety. Our flagship product, OneReport, replaces static online crime report forms with an AI-powered platform that interviews citizens the way a trained detective would. OneReport is listens, clarifys, and extracts the facts that matter. It applies the correct penal codes and NIBRS classifications automatically, scores reports for solvability, detects indicators of bias-motivated crimes and suspicious activity, and routes structured, actionable reports directly into law enforcement records systems. No manual re-entry.
We're led by a former detective and built by engineers who work directly alongside officers, detectives, and records staff. The problems we solve aren't theoretical, they're the ones that slow down investigations, bury leads, and erode trust between communities and the agencies that serve them.
Corveris is a San Francisco-based company deploying with law enforcement agencies today, with a product roadmap that extends into real-time crime intelligence, investigative search, automated case workflows, and predictive insights.
