Frontend Engineering Lead at Omnea

You will own Omnea’s frontend architecture and design system, serving as the technical authority for the entire organization in a staff-level craft role with no direct reports. Working across product teams, you’ll bridge the gap between design intent and high-performance implementation, setting the standards for complex, AI-driven interfaces used by the world’s leading companies.

• Own the frontend architecture, including deployment strategies, build tooling, and performance optimizations across the entire React and Next.js application.
• Lead the evolution and adoption of a robust design system, partnering with designers to create reusable components, tokens, and documentation used across the company.
• Act as a force multiplier across every product team, setting the standard for how engineers ship high-quality, accessible, and high-performance interfaces.

• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a proven track record of managing complex state, rendering behavior, and performance for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience building and maintaining a mature design system from the ground up, including driving adoption and handling complex migrations across multiple product teams.
• A strong sense of design taste and technical craft, with the ability to build sophisticated, accessible interfaces that handle complex branching workflows and dense data.

• Direct ownership of the entire frontend stack and design system at a company where revenue is tripling and the engineering team is doubling in size.
