Full Stack Engineer at Valyu

Search is becoming the core primitive for AI, and this stealth-mode startup is building the stack that makes knowledge accessible to how agents actually work. They are looking for a 'cracked' Full Stack Engineer in London to own everything from customer dashboards to agent runtimes using Next.js, Supabase, and LLM-driven workflows. With a salary range of £55k–£95k plus equity, this is a rare chance for a junior-to-mid-level engineer to take massive ownership at the frontier of the information retrieval renaissance and help build the agentic knowledge layer for deep research.

About this role

Role overview

You will build the search primitive for the AI era, developing a stack designed for how agents actually work. As a full-stack owner, you will ship end-to-end product surfaces from customer dashboards to agent runtimes. This role combines first-principles research with hard engineering to make massive knowledge accessible to LLM-driven workflows.

About the company

Valyu is the knowledge infrastructure platform for AI agents. We help knowledge work companies transform web and proprietary information into structured, attributed context that powers reasoning, research, and decision-making. Through our search and deep research infrastructure, AI systems gain real-time access to trustworthy, domain-specific knowledge at scale. As search becomes the core primitive of AI, Valyu is building the foundation that enables agents to discover, understand, and synthesise information across thousands of sources.

What you'll do

What you will do

  • Own the full stack end-to-end, utilizing AWS, GCP, Next.js, Supabase, Clerk, and Vercel to ship high-quality features rapidly.
  • Build and integrate AI-native interfaces and agent runtimes, making LLM-driven workflows a first-class primitive of the product.
  • Collaborate directly with customers in forward-deployed settings to translate complex research and financial service needs into technical product reality.

Who you are

Who this is a fit for

  • A product-minded engineer with 1-3 years of experience shipping real-world applications using TypeScript and modern React.
  • A resourceful generalist who can design APIs, model data, write migrations, and reach into ML as a first-principles problem solver.
  • Fluent with AI engineering tools like Claude Code and Codex to multiply output while maintaining an exceptional bar for UX and design taste.

Why this role

Why this role is remarkable

  • Ship at the frontier of information retrieval during a total industry renaissance where LLMs are changing the fundamental way software is built.
  • Join a high-velocity, engineering-led environment where you have total ownership of product design, ML integration, and deployment cycles.
  • Work in an "in-office" culture that values being "cracked," moving fast, and building magical user experiences that don't exist anywhere else.
