Role overview
Dirac Software Limited is looking for a Head of FMCG Trading UK to build a brand-new business unit from the ground up. You will own the full P&L, establish sourcing and sales strategies for food, beverage, and household surplus, and leverage proprietary AI tooling to optimize stock routing. This is a true 0→1 founding opportunity.

What you will do
- Build the sourcing pipeline by identifying and negotiating deals with FMCG brands, retailers, and distributors holding excess or closeout inventory.
- Develop a robust sell-side network including independent discount stores, exporters, and online sellers to move inventory quietly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the tech team to refine AI-driven pricing and routing tools, ensuring every unit reaches its highest-value end market.
Who this is a fit for
- Proven track record as a senior commercial operator in FMCG wholesale or the surplus stock world with a deep, active network of contacts.
- Demonstrated experience personally closing significant excess-stock deals and a deep understanding of the economics of closeout and clearance markets.
