As an Accountant at Brunswick Group LLC, you will take full ownership of end-to-end payroll cycles and the underlying accounting processes. Working remotely from Texas, you will manage multi-state compliance, reconcile payroll to the general ledger, and support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all payroll-related financial reporting.

• Execute end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and on time, ensuring full compliance with multi-state wage and tax regulations.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of payroll data to the general ledger and handle all necessary payroll tax filings and accruals.
• Support the broader finance team during month-end close by managing payroll-related journal entries and specialized financial documentation.

• Proven experience as a dedicated payroll specialist, with hands-on experience running full-cycle payroll including complex multi-state requirements.
• Strong foundational knowledge of general accounting principles, capable of managing accruals and ledger entries without constant supervision.
• Proficient in mainstream payroll platforms and advanced spreadsheet functions, currently residing in Texas with valid US work authorization.
