Join as a Commercial Co-Founder to build the coordination layer for the decentralized grid. Leveraging multi-agent reinforcement learning, you will solve the scaling bottlenecks of virtual power plants. You’ll lead commercial strategy, secure pilot agreements with VPP operators, and raise funding to unlock the full potential of distributed energy resources globally.

Operating in four sectors—Pharmaceuticals, Climate, Agriculture, and Computation—we tackle the challenges defining these areas by taking a first principles approach and partnering with leading institutions.

What you will do

  • Validate market demand and secure commercial proof points including LOIs, MOUs, and pilot agreements with global VPP operators and aggregators.
  • Lead all fundraising efforts from pre-seed through Series A, targeting top-tier climate tech and energy-focused venture capital investors.
  • Navigate complex energy market regulations and grid code compliance across major target geographies including the US ISO/RTO, UK, and European markets.

Who this is a fit for

  • 8-15 years of experience in early-stage startups or leading commercial scale-ups within the energy, grid flexibility, or VPP markets.
  • Proven track record in B2B business development, successfully moving from cold outreach to signed commercial partnerships and revenue-generating agreements.
  • Deep network of existing relationships across energy traders, utilities, DSOs/DNOs, and distributed energy resource manufacturers to accelerate go-to-market entry.
