What you will do
- Develop a technical thesis for modular transmission towers, utilizing DfMA and advanced materials to enable rapid, crane-free assembly in the field.
- Lead the venture creation process from scoping and IP strategy to recruiting a world-class co-founding team and preparing for the Investment Committee.
- Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and commercial landscapes to secure pilot projects with transmission operators and EPC contractors within the UK and international markets.
Who this is a fit for
- Strong background in civil or mechanical engineering with deep expertise in modular structural systems, interlocking connections, or advanced lightweight composite materials.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including hands-on navigation of technical standards like BS EN 50341-1 or equivalent grid regulations.
- Entrepreneurial drive with a history of shipping prototypes or leading product development in construction technology, energy infrastructure, or a related deep-tech field.
