What you will do
- Design and build Raya’s core AI systems, including RAG-based agents, prompting strategies, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks for sensitive health interactions.
- Architect and implement robust data pipelines to capture high-value maternal health data that will fuel future proprietary model training and improvements.
- Ship end-to-end features, bridging the gap between the user-facing companion experience and the backend AI infrastructure while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Who this is a fit for
- Has 2–4 years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping production-level LLM systems such as agents, RAG, and APIs.
- Possesses a bias for action and the startup DNA required to thrive in a zero-to-one environment with high shipping velocity.
- Demonstrates strong software fundamentals and an interest in growing into deep AI architecture, model fine-tuning, and safety-critical health applications.
