Forward Deployed Engineer at Tavus

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Tavus, you will bridge the gap between high-level research and real-world application. You will split your time between hands-on customer integration and building core product enhancements like SDKs and prototypes. Your mission is to ensure a magical developer experience while turning field insights into platform-wide improvements.

• Work hands-on with customers to debug complex integrations, build Proof of Concepts, and design custom solutions that leverage human-like AI agents.
• Develop and maintain SDKs, sample applications, and platform tools that make the Tavus interface more intuitive and powerful for external developers.
• Partner with core engineering to test pre-release features and translate customer feedback into immediate product iterations and architectural enhancements.

• Possesses extremely solid software engineering fundamentals with deep curiosity across the entire stack, from machine learning to infrastructure and networking.
• Demonstrates a “founder mindset” with a strong bias toward action and the ability to operate as a product-minded engineer who identifies user patterns.
• Has significant experience or a strong desire working closely with end-users to solve technical hurdles and advocate for their needs internally.
