Their technology creates simulations of real-world populations for rapid and scalable insights. Electric Twin was founded by the former Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister on Digital and Data and the former Director of Mass Testing, aiming to solve the problems they faced in understanding human behaviour during the pandemic. The team includes experts with backgrounds in data strategy, government, and advanced AI product development.
What you will do
- Design and ship end-to-end features using React, Next.js, and Python/FastAPI to help users explore uncertainty through synthetic populations.
- Orchestrate complex AI components into a reliable, explainable system that provides trustworthy outputs for high-stakes decision making.
- Own the entire product lifecycle from vague problem definition to polished execution, balancing rapid momentum with long-term system health.
Who this is a fit for
- Proven experience building robust web applications with a modern stack including React, Python, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
- A “thinking engineer” mindset with the ability to thrive in an environment without perfectly specified tickets or rigid corporate ceremony.
- Strong technical judgment and a bias toward action, comfortable working 4 days a week in a high-intensity London-based office environment.
