You will work on Cosmos SDK modules, consensus mechanisms, and state machine optimizations to enhance performance and scalability. This senior role offers the opportunity to ship protocol-level upgrades that directly impact real-world trading volume and cross-chain interoperability.

Finance50-100 employees

Injective Labs is a research and development company focused on creating unmatched Web3 infrastructure and finance solutions. As one of the core contributors to Injective, it aims to provide innovative solutions for the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, including products like Helix, a decentralized order-book crypto exchange, and Mito, a DeFi protocol for passive yield generation and token launchpad. It operates validator nodes for various Web3 projects and is dedicated to fostering a free and decentralized financial landscape.[1][5][12]

What you will do

  • Design and implement core blockchain logic using Golang, including Cosmos SDK modules, consensus mechanisms, and state machine optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain performance-critical bridge infrastructure and cross-chain interoperability solutions to expand the Injective ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with a small engineering team to research, architect, and ship network upgrades that push the technical limits of L1 throughput and latency.

Who this is a fit for

  • Possesses deep professional experience in Golang, having built and maintained high-performance, concurrent production systems at scale.
  • Demonstrates a strong background in blockchain infrastructure, specifically with the Cosmos SDK, Tendermint/CometBFT, or other Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols.
  • Understands the intricacies of financial products such as order-book DEXs, perpetuals, derivatives, or market microstructure within a decentralized context.

Why this role is remarkable
