Protocol Engineer at Injective Labs

Join Injective Labs to develop the core infrastructure powering the next generation of decentralized finance. You will work on Cosmos SDK modules, consensus mechanisms, and state machine optimizations to enhance performance and scalability. This senior role offers the opportunity to ship protocol-level upgrades that directly impact real-world trading volume and cross-chain interoperability.

• Design and implement core blockchain logic using Golang, including Cosmos SDK modules, consensus mechanisms, and state machine optimizations.
• Develop and maintain performance-critical bridge infrastructure and cross-chain interoperability solutions to expand the Injective ecosystem.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to research, architect, and ship network upgrades that push the technical limits of L1 throughput and latency.

• Possesses deep professional experience in Golang, having built and maintained high-performance, concurrent production systems at scale.
• Demonstrates a strong background in blockchain infrastructure, specifically with the Cosmos SDK, Tendermint/CometBFT, or other Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols.
• Understands the intricacies of financial products such as order-book DEXs, perpetuals, derivatives, or market microstructure within a decentralized context.

• Work at the protocol layer of one of crypto’s most performant L1s, shipping code that handles significant real-world volume and affects every transaction on the network.
• Join a senior-heavy, remote-first team of ~50 experts backed by top-tier investors including Binance, Jump Crypto, and Pantera Capital.
• Own high-impact architectural decisions and optimizations for block times and throughput on a chain laser-focused on the future of institutional-grade DeFi.
