Role overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Authentic Insurance, you will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex product features. Working directly with the CTO, you’ll build polished TypeScript and React interfaces to simplify intricate insurance workflows. This high-agency role involves mentoring peers and scaling the platform’s AI-native distribution layer.

About Authentic Insurance

Authentic is building the AI-native distribution layer for insurance. We don’t carry risk on our own balance sheet; we partner with carriers and reinsurers who do, and we distribute their products digitally, faster, and at lower cost than they can direct. Our Program Factory model runs a portfolio of programs across hospitality, inland marine, energy, construction, and other emerging lines on shared technology, data, and servicing infrastructure, so each new program launches faster and more efficiently. Capacity partners including QBE, Starr, Ascot, Everspan, TransRe etc. supply the risk capital; Authentic supplies the underwriting, technology, operations, and distribution through brokers like Hub, Gallagher, Alliant, and Marsh. Carriers become balance sheets and logos, and turn to AI-enabled companies like Authentic to distribute their products.
