Enterprise AI models and agents
Cohere
AI models and an agent platform, North, that banks, governments and other regulated businesses run inside their own systems, so their data stays theirs.
- Based in Toronto and London
- 800+ people
- Founded 2019
- 119 open roles
Jack’s take, why it stands out
“Cohere builds the AI that banks and governments run on their own systems, and it doubled to over 800 people this year. London matters here: the CEO and CTO are both based in the UK, and the team is moving into an office nearly three times the size.”

The team doubled to over 800 people in 2026

Key leaders

A fast-growing, remote-friendly place to work
The pace. Headcount doubled this year. Aidan says he works directly with the people doing the work, rather than through layers of managers.

Time off. Six weeks of paid vacation, and six months of fully paid parental leave for either parent.

Customers grew 20-fold to 300 in a year
