Revenue more than doubled in 2025
Yearly revenue from the group accounts of Pineapple Technology Ltd, the London company behind incident.io, converted from pounds at each year’s average rate.
It lost about $24M in 2025 as it spent ahead of growth, and ended the year with about $62M in cash.
Its chief revenue officer set doubling revenue as the goal for 2025. It rose 117%.
More than 80% of its revenue comes from outside the UK.
No layoffs have been reported.
Insight Partners led a $62M round in April 2025
Its seed, Series A and Series B add up to about $96M; it now says it has raised more than $100M. TechCrunch reported the Series B valued it at about $400M.
The team grew from 80 to more than 200 in under a year
Its headquarters are near Old Street in London, where it moved into a new office in June 2026. It also has offices in San Francisco and New York. The New York team grew from 4 people to 15 between January and April 2026.
Three Monzo engineers founded it and still run it
Stephen, Pete and Chris met as engineers at Monzo, where they spent years handling incidents with tools that weren’t fit for purpose. Carlos Gonzalez-Cadenas, who led its seed and Series A rounds at Index Ventures, joined as COO in September 2026. Craig Chance, VP of sales for EMEA, left in September 2026, nine months after he joined.
A fast team that takes the first Friday of every month off
The pace. Work is intense, and it says so. Each Monday teams set what they want to be true by Friday. People who prefer a slower pace or lots of structure may find it hard, and it deals with underperformance quickly and directly.
Where. Work is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office and core hours of 10am to 4pm, in London, San Francisco or New York.
AI tools. Everyone gets unlimited AI spend, and engineers use Claude Code, Cursor and Wispr Flow every day. Sales has its own Claude bot in Slack.
Time off. Everyone takes the first Friday of every month off, on top of 25 days off a year in the UK or 20 in the US. After four years, people get a four-week paid sabbatical.
Ownership. Everyone gets equity, and parents of preschool children get a monthly childcare stipend.
More than 2,000 companies use it, including Netflix and OpenAI
Customer counts over time. It wins about 9 in 10 deals where PagerDuty or FireHydrant also compete, and 90% of customers use On-call, launched in 2024. Investigations, an AI agent that looks into what caused an incident, launched in August 2026.
