As an Early Engineer at Socratix AI, you will build and scale AI agent infrastructure that replaces hours of manual fraud investigation for banks and fintechs. Working directly with founders, you’ll own backend APIs, cloud deployments, and multi-step agentic workflows using Python and LangChain. You will ship to production weekly and define the company’s core engineering culture.

What you will do

Design and implement robust backend APIs and scalable AI agent infrastructure using Python, FastAPI, and AWS to support real-time investigation workflows.
Develop and optimize multi-step AI agents and RAG systems that reason across complex data signals to provide auditable risk recommendations for customers.
Collaborate daily with the founders to translate customer needs into technical requirements, shipping new features and product improvements to production on a weekly basis.
