Join Siena AI to lead engineering execution for our Channels and Analytics teams. You will unblock senior engineers, manage delivery cadences, and serve as a technical thought partner in a fast-paced, remote-first startup. This role is critical for scaling our platform as we expand into voice, social, and shopping agents.
Engineering Manager, Channels & Platform at Siena AI
Siena AI is redefining customer experience with its autonomous multi-agent stack, and they need an Engineering Manager to scale their Channels and Platform teams. This isn't a traditional coordinator role; you'll be a technical thought partner for senior engineers, owning delivery for brands like Spanx and Brooklinen. If you have 3+ years of management experience, deep AI/LLM fluency, and thrive in low-process, high-impact startup environments, this is your chance to shape the future of AI agents. Join a remote-first team where high standards and fast execution are the default.

Role overview
Siena AI (using the domain siena.cx) is an autonomous, empathic AI customer service and customer experience platform designed for commerce brands. It provides AI agents that automate customer interactions across email, chat, SMS, social media, and other channels, handling use cases such as product information, order tracking, address changes, returns and exchanges, subscription and retention management, and social media conversations. The platform embeds into existing help desks like Zendesk, Gorgias, Kustomer, Gladly, and Dixa, consolidating the CX stack and enabling brands to resolve most customer inquiries end-to-end using generative AI while maintaining each brand’s unique voice through AI personas. Siena’s mission is to humanize the internet by turning customer interactions into meaningful relationships, combining human-like empathy with advanced LLM-powered automation to improve efficiency, increase loyalty, and optimize support operations for direct-to-consumer and other commerce-focused businesses.
What you will do
- Manage the weekly delivery cadence for Channels and Analytics, identifying constraints before they become escalations.
- Act as a technical thought partner for senior engineers, writing debt plans and improving developer experience to accelerate shipping.
- Lead people development through direct 1:1s and high-impact feedback, coaching senior talent toward management or deeper technical mastery.
Who this is a fit for
- Has 3+ years of experience managing engineers in a high-growth product delivery capacity, ideally within a startup or scale-up environment.
- Possesses genuine AI/LLM fluency, understanding agentic systems, evals, and model reliability beyond the industry hype.
- Resides in a European timezone (UTC to UTC+3) to provide localized oversight and support for the distributed engineering team.
Why this role is remarkable
- Own the execution of a cutting-edge multi-agent stack for massive consumer brands like FIGS and Spanx.
- Work in a high-autonomy, low-bureaucracy environment where you own outcomes rather than just managing tickets.
- Directly influence the scaling of a category-defining AI product while working alongside an elite, distributed team of “athletes.”
