Head of Finance at Azoma

As the first Head of Finance at Azoma.ai, you will build the entire finance function from the ground up following our recent Series A. Toggling between high-level board reporting and granular payroll runs, you will own FP&A, software economics, and statutory compliance across our London and Toronto operations during this critical scale-up phase.

• Establish the full plumbing of the finance function, including month-end close, statutory accounts, audit, tax, payroll, and the implementation of all underlying financial systems.
• Develop and maintain the operating model and board packs for an institutional cap table to drive long-term strategy and investor reporting.
• Manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, covering contract administration, budget oversight, and deep analysis of SaaS metrics like ARR, retention, and CAC payback.

• Proven experience owning the full finance function at a venture-backed startup, ideally within the AI or B2B SaaS sectors at a similar growth stage.
• Demonstrated expertise in software economics, including a deep understanding of gross margins under heavy compute costs and multi-jurisdictional operations across the UK and Canada.
• A professional background combining Big Four training with hands-on startup experience, showing a comfort with toggling between board presentations and tactical execution.
